Intended use:
This kit is intended for in vitro qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swabs from individuals suspected of COVID-19. The kit is intended for layperson use and for people age 7 years or above, children 7-14 years of age should be tested by an adult (over 18 years old). People over 65 years of age should seek help with the test.
COVID-19 is an acute respiratory infectious disease. People are generally susceptible. Based on the current epidemiological investigation, the incubation period is 1 to 14 days, mostly 3 to 7 days. The main manifestations include fever, fatigue and dry cough. Nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, myalgia and diarrhea are found in a few cases.
